I wouldn’t exactly say sad, at least not for me. Considering they’re going to war, they should’ve been prepared for death, both for their companions and themselves. It’s different for Zuo Mo’s gang because they never asked for war (yet), instead they’re being provoked.

The three souls of Xiao Mo Ge. One yao, one mo, and then his freaky one that wasn’t named Xiao Mo Ge but was instead named Zuo Mo. This last was the most shameless of the the three souls. But this is expected for this soul was xiu.
I can totally see that XD The legend will of course always be distorted with time 😀 The Xiu probably would have their own version though because pride/ego are immortal 😉

I think this is exactly why I love ZuoMo….he is greedy and he’s not ashamed of it. He actually is quite proud of his ability to get valuable things out of people.
I have never read this genre before, I only started this coz TBAVW ended. I have no idea what its even called wuxia?xianxia? But I don’t think I’ll ever read another book from this genre in future, coz after ZuoMo all others MCs will seem so boring.

Lil’ MIss is mainly running to ZM so that he can bring ZM home safely and then help ZM get his revenge. Still not even sure who he needs revenge against but all of Turtle Island’s big leaders know that there is revenge to be had and they’ve all thrown in for it already lol.
I don’t really think they intend to go anywhere right now. That massive formation sounds like the foundation of a major sect and Turtle island is slowly becoming a kind of holy land. Little miss will defend Cloud Sea Jie to the end at this point this is their Territory. While they might be pushed back to near the rift with turtle island anchored above it. They won’t leave that jie with out a long and drawn out fight.
ZM is being a duechbag to Wei, and wtf is he talking about if what he did wasent enough to get the attention of that princess. How stupid can he be, for not realising what he has done after he got told what happened…
A.) He’s always treated the two ghosts that way, so why are you surprised? And B.) He wasn’t worried about his display not being enough to bring out the princess. He was worried about it being too much and scaring the princess away because her family would feel he was too big a fish to try to steal safely.
Im not surprised, i just think he is being to big a duechbag to them. The princess’s family is one of the top families in the mo world, so him being to big a fish wont be a problem.
So did you forget how Pu was to him in the beginning? Also did you forget how Wei was introduced to the series as a female character? They are all that way Zou Mo has worked very hard to get near to there duech level. They may be on a team at the moment but only because there interests line up. Even while cooperating they still try to gain advantages over each other less but they still try. Also they are really being a duech by essentially forcing him to continue fighting for there old grudges. They really are selfish elders. Zou Mo and those two deserve one another. This inner conflict and how that has shaped Zou Mo is one of the most entertaining aspects of this story. so in the end they are all dueches.
I agree that Pu isent better than ZM, but Wei hasent done anything bad to ZM and dosent deserve to be treated like that. ZM treats him like s*** because Pu treated him bad, but that dosent make it allright.
as of this point in the story what your saying is 98% true but wei has been playing a interesting game between Pu and Zou Mo for a while now we have not seen them fight for a while but I get the feeling he is just as shamless as Pu but in his own self righteous way. While I agree Zou Mo treats him rather badly in this instance I do not think that Wei won’t find a appropriate way to return the favor.
I dont think he will do anything as a way of revenge, since he hasent done anything like that uptill now, or at least not to ZM. Everything Wei has done to ZM, has been to help him and to make sure that his ancient familys art/teaching wont die out. He has never really forced ZM to do anything against his will, and told him of the risk involved if he used what he gave him, like the seed of devinity or whatever it was called. While Pu has always done everything for his selfish reasons, and not cared about ZMs safety except that he would lose a host if he died.
Well you could say that Pu Yao and Wei are like the forefathers of being schemers to the point that they are dueches. Zuo Mo knows he’s similar to them at doing schemes as to being a dueches. First off the original plan was “only” narrowing for the Princess Xia family.
Except he scammed all the families looking at him to be recruited. Pu Yao and Wei was settling their grudges as a scam just for that family. Except Zuo Mo blew up that plan and now Zou Mo realized their scam made him also surprised. “They scammed themselves” giving them,Pu Yao,Wei,Zuo Mo a opportunity.
If i remember correctly, the reason ZM goes along with their plans. Is because he wants to save some of his former sects members. And they are not scamming him, or at least it cant be when ZM knows what they want. Its not like they are playing him, without him having any clue about it. Actually with how stupid he is most of the time, it wouldnt be a surpriese if he dident knew after all.
