Lin Yu Tong took Dai Yu back to the Rong Ducal Establishment after Jia Bao Yu and Xi Ren left the banquet. It was a coincidence to speak of it, but just after entering the inner courtyard, they met Zhou Rui’s Wife. She did not know what the other was in a hurry to go to.

Translator Ramblings: I’m not quite sure how much was described in the original story about Bao Yu’s exploits… Like I think elementary and high schoolers study the story so it can’t be too over the top, but no idea whatsoever.
